The Badante Chronicles: Therapy dog

Who would’ve thought that Mister Bentley (who has never liked my father-in-law from day one), is now very okay with sitting in the old man’s lap. Dogs must sense when someone is not quite right, or at least not like how they were before, and although the dachshund will never seek out affection from Pops, it’s incredulous to see our ankle biter allow someone other than ourselves to pet him. Good boy!

I was speechless when he didn’t fidget or try to jump off. And there was no treats involved either (he always expects something if he does something new).
