Hi sweet Maddie! I have a Black Long Haired German Shepherd and I often get asked what he is! Bear says: “Hey look at my ears and my muzzle and you should be able to tell what I am” “He says: Hey mama just tell them I am a giant sized Chihuahua” tee hee! Happy Friday hugz Lisa and Bear

Hahahaha! Some people just don’t know dogs, even the most obvious ones. The most unbelievable thing to happen to us is when a woman saw Mister and Maddie together and thought they were actual siblings!!! You think? Well, I suppose if you dismiss the difference in color, body length, body height, position of ears and muzzle size, they could pass for twins. 😄 😄 😄 😄

I noticed that he is more keen to women than men. We’ve had a couple of friends (women) over on different occasions, and while he did initially regard them with suspicion, he later softened a bit and actually sat down next to them while they sat on the floor. Maybe it’s just easier (for him) to connect on an emotional level, whereas with guys they just wanna be pals from the getgo. Mister B does not make pals with just anyone. He puts them through a full background check first! Hahahahahha!

I bet Mister B has a very good sense of people! People should know let the dog come to him on their terms! For some reason Bear is more apt to allow females to pet him than males. Outside the home he feels he is on duty protecting me and all bets are off! He loves seeing company in our home until they as they leave the door then that protective switch comes on. We are real careful with him cuz we sure don’t want him biting anyone! Someday I might get small dogs like your fur kids. Have a super weekend sweetie

I saw the title before I scrolled down to see the photo. I thought, uh oh! 🙂 🙂 Great picture. I wish we had visited there the last time we were in the area.

The Langhe is such a gorgeous area to be in during the fall season. Truffle fairs, chestnuts, pumpkins, bollito misto, bagna cauda, potage, and of course the wines! Something tells me that we’ll head back for Christmas weekend.
