First snow frolic of the season

Just enough to tickle their paws without getting covered head to toe in hard-to-get-out snow clumps. We’ve been waiting for a day like this but tomorrow’s forecast guarantees that much of it will melt away under a clear sky. Is it snowing at yours?

They look like they are having a good time 🙂 By coincidence a friend sent us a picture this morning of the first snow from his childhood home in Rock Falls, Iowa. I wish I could post the picture, it is gorgeous. The first significant snow is due tomorrow in our state. Unfortunately, we would have to travel four hours by car to see it.

The big snowstorms in the Midwest made italian news a few days ago – incredible! But as beautiful as it [snow] looks, let it be nice and sunny on Thanksgiving Day.
