Where in Italy?

Al Bicerin

So far, the first days of January have been like this: sun, snow, and rain, in that order. Four more days remain before vacation is over, but in spite of the ugly weather predicted this weekend, we’re going on a hunt for a really good cup of thick hot chocolate, among other things. Can you guess where by this image?

Sounds delicious! And, if my dialect serves me right, does the name of the chocolate shop mean “to the small glass”? Perhaps it’s like a toast of some kind? There is nothing better than hot chocolate in Italy – so thick…like pudding! I can still taste it…and it’s been 5 years since I had some on a cold December day in Laveno 🙂 Happy New Year!
