A cold but sunny Thanksgiving

Cold but sunny

It’s funny to think that I used to make such a big deal about Thanksgiving when I first moved here, but in the last few years I’m happy if we just have nice weather to spend a little bit of time outside. That is exactly what we did when MotH took a half day off from work and came home to join the dogs and I on a walk before lunch. We enjoyed a simple meal of rosemary Turbit rolls (turkey breasts stuffed with rabbit), lingonberry sauce, and roasted vegetables. I rather like the simplicity of it all and am thankful that clean-up was effortless, but the nice part about no longer feeling “compelled” to roast a large bird is that afterwards we had the energy to head over to the shopping center.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving too.
