This better be the last snow of the season

As I see it, the first quarter of the year has been a perpetual cycle of weather extremes, but hopefully this is the last of the white stuff to come drifting our way. Enough already! Not that the canine dynamic duo mind at all, but until it stops there’s no telling how many dog mines need to be uncovered in the yard.

I have to give them credit for having to stay indoors and not making too much of a fuss. They love their dailiy walks, but when it’s ugly out, they know I’m not going anywhere.

Firewood all gone! Not gonna get more either since the last batch we got was lousy quality at a rip-off price. Grrrr. Been turning on the heater but expect the next gas bill to be astronomous. 😦

I know what you feel, here in NY spring is never arriving.
Basta, is time for warmth. Great picture of your dog tough. It looks like he’s enjoying it at least.

As if my lack of posts don’t say enough already, but I feel everybody’s pain on this very long winter! A light dusting of snow fell yesterday and I was ready to pull my hair out….argh!

Nice snowy pics, they look so cute! It was pretty rainy on Oahu today. Just when I think it’s getting warm again, there’s another rainy/cool week. I’m fine with that though! 🙂

I noticed Yahoo’s weather report for Hawaii just this morning and it looks like you’re getting doused! We got a light dusting of snow today and expect more tomorrow, but nothing to warrant bringing out the snow shovels.

I’ll trade you! The weather here in Manila is scorching-hot with blue skies all day. I’d rather have the snow. 🙂 Oh, and your doggies ~ ! Such fluffy babies! 😀

I know scorching-hot can’t be all that fun, especially day to day, so I would gladly trade you some of our cold, at least enough for me to be able to grow papayas, okra and mangos in the garden.

It is the first day of spring, and it is cold and snowing here in the Western NY area. It has been a rather mild winter, but we are all ready to move into spring and it’s warm sunny days. Love your canines. Our Westie loves the snow. She loves to jump into snow piles and rolls in it. Happy Spring!

      Hi Sharon,
We may be looking at some snow this coming Wednesday but I don’t think it’ll be much — perhaps just enough to make the Westie’s day! Happy Spring to you too!

I’m sure we’ll get our fair share of dreary rainy weather in the coming months, so it’s not over yet. Still, wouldn’t hurt to have sunny/warm days every now and then too!

They’re quite the snow-lovin’ furballs so it’s a good thing that it’s not raining (for which they hate going outside to do their business).

Ours started melting the day after when the sun came out and jumped up by 10 degrees! Weird weather … and I think we may get more snow next week although not as much. Keep warm!
