Maddie at Slow Food Cheese
Parmigiano, gorgonzola, pecorino, chevre, cheddar — a dream come true for a dog in the middle of… cheeseland. This fair is GIGANTIC! It was such an overwhelming experience, like hitting the international mother lode of cheese. Carefully stacked mounds, endless displays, product sampling – absolute heaven for anyone with a strong passion for all things cheese. In comparison to the 2003 event, public interest and scheduled programs have grown impressively within the past four years. Cheese tastings, wine pairings, exhibitions, street food, artisan beers…is it possible to have too much of a good thing? Well I don’t think so where cheese is concerned, so I hope we’ll be able to attend future editions.
