A Birthday in Paris

louvre_pyramidI’m sure anyone who has had the good fortune to visit the City of Light, even if for a few days like we did, will have lots of wonderful memories tucked away. This is not the first time that I’ve been to Paris but spending the 1st of June on the grounds of the Louvre during twilight hours was very special and a very cool birthday to remember.

Birthday lunch: Seafood platter at Le Suffren. Oysters, clams, mussels, bulot, shrimp, periwinkles, and whatever else that I may have forgotten to add. Thanks Dad…

Sepia shimmer: Like candles on a cake, reflections from antique street lamps illuminate shallow pools flanking the main pyramid.

And for dessert: Tarts. And not only for bday. For everyday!
