Percocche and Vino

Love fruity drinks or fruit in drinks? Don’t know what to do with not-so-tasty peaches? This italian custom is for you. Here in Italy, percocche peaches are cheap and plentiful, but their lack of flavor makes them more suitable for something that goes hand in hand with la dolce vita — slice into wedges and added to a glass of vino rosso. My husband believes this is a tradition from the south, but remembers his grandfather (northern italian) eating percocche in such a fashion.
