100 ways to celebrate Italy

From the upper north to the deep south, hundreds of italian celebrations are repeated year after year. Food, wine, historic reenactments, religious festivals, patron saints, animal races, you name it – this country suffers no lack of imagination when it comes to bringing together the masses for one particular theme. My goal is to experience as many as possible from all corners of the boot.

So good, I can’t tell you how depressing it is to see so many that have been cancelled for this year alone. I just hope we don’t go through a second wave of the pandemic in the fall months.

Ohh my, oh my. I’ve been living in Tuscany for almost six years and have done 4 autumn sagre. (All in one day too.) 😀 Well done for accomplishing so much already. To many happy moments to come!

Did you post about them? I will have to go through your blog. I so wish we could do more sagre in central and southern Italy, but it always involves holidays that can’t be approved.
